  • Absolutely! Most of our students came in with no experience at all. We make sure beginners feel comfortable and confident from day one.

    Our goal? To have them playing music they love within just a few lessons — and more importantly, to see themselves as musicians.

  • Private lessons begin at age 7, but we also have early childhood group music programs for younger kids (and their grownups!).

    Adults are always welcome too — it’s never too late to start.

  • That’s totally okay.

    One of the unique things we offer at Rhythm & Strings Music is the chance to explore different instruments before committing to one. We’re here to help you find what clicks.

  • We use a hybrid approach. If reading music helps you reach your goals faster, we’ll teach it. If not, we may focus more on learning by ear or playing by chord.

    Our teaching adapts to you, not the other way around.

  • Yes! We offer several low-pressure performance opportunities throughout the year.

    You can participate if you want — or not. It’s all about what motivates you.

  • Lessons are scheduled weekly at the same time each week, in 30- or 60-minute sessions.

    We do offer makeup lessons (with some guidelines) and will work with you to find a time that fits your routine.

  • Not for the FREE trial — we’ve got you covered.

    But after you enroll, we do ask that you bring your own instrument to lessons. Need help choosing one? We’re happy to guide you through the process with recommendations.

  • They can — and they should. Playing an instrument is one of the few activities you can enjoy for life.

    Our students stick with lessons because they’re learning music that inspires them — not just what’s in the method book.

  • Yes! Many of our students are adults learning for the first time (or returning after a long break).

    We also offer shared parent-child lessons — a great way to bond and grow together musically.
