Here's Exactly How It Works.
STUDY
We start with the beginner piano curriculum. We’ll teach you the fundamentals that give you the technique and knowledge to actually read and play music. This is where the work happens and where most studios lose students. We help you stay motivated by making each lesson engaging and leaving space for creative play.
PLAY
Once your foundation is in place, we pivot to real songs. Songs you actually want to play, pulled straight from your playlist. We work each piece start to finish until you can play it the whole way through. No arbitrary exercises. No songs you didn't choose.
RECORD
When your song is performance-ready, we’ll reserve a lesson as your song master recording session. Mics go up, camera rolls. You record as many takes as you can, then we mix and master the final result and deliver it to you digitally. Yours to keep forever.
For most beginners, your first song master recording happens around month three.
Then we do it again and again. Progress is measured track by track and if you stick with it as long as most of our students do, you’ll have a whole album of songs at the end.

Here's what makes piano great for beginners: unlike guitar (where your fingers hurt) or drums (which need coordination), piano gives you immediate results.

Our goal? To have you playing a simple song you recognize within your first 3-4 lessons. But more importantly, to help you view yourself as a musician.

Not even close. We teach adult beginners in their 20s, 40s, 60s, and beyond. Adult beginners often progress faster than kids because you know what you want and why you're here.
Your brain is perfectly capable of learning piano at any age.
The key is finding a teacher who understands how adults learn (we do) and starting with music that motivates you.

Nope! That's like asking if you need to know how to read before learning to talk.
We teach beginners to play by ear first, matching sounds and melodies you already know. Once you're comfortable at the piano, we gradually introduce notation.
This approach keeps beginners motivated because you're making music immediately, not staring at confusing dots on paper for months.

Most beginner students are playing recognizable songs (simple versions) within their first 3-4 lessons.
Will you play Beethoven's 9th Symphony? Not yet. But you'll play melodies you recognize. "Happy Birthday," a simplified pop song, or a movie theme within your first few lessons.
Progress depends on practice consistency, but our beginner-focused approach is designed to build confidence quickly so you stay motivated.

But to make real progress, you'll need something to practice on at home. The good news? You don't need an expensive piano.
Budget-friendly options for beginners:
61-key touch-sensitive keyboard: $200-300
88-key digital piano (better for serious learning): $400-700
Used keyboard from the Marketplace: $100-200
We'll guide you through choosing the right option for your space and budget. Many beginners start with a basic keyboard and upgrade later.

For kids (ages 7-12): We recommend 30-minute lessons to match their attention span.
For teens and adults: 30 or 60-minute lessons work better since you can focus longer and cover more ground.
Lessons are scheduled weekly at the same time each week. We also offer makeup lessons (with some guidelines) if you need to miss a week.
