Terms of Enrollment
Welcome to Rhythm & Strings Music. These Terms of Enrollment ("Agreement") are between Rhythm & Strings Music LLC ("Studio") and the student and/or parent or guardian enrolling in any Studio program ("Family"). Part 1 below applies to every Studio program. Part 2 contains the specific membership details, schedule, and terms for the program you are enrolling in. Refer to the section that matches your enrollment confirmation.
Part 1 - General Terms (All Programs)
Studio Policies
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals do not extend the lesson end time.
Treat studio equipment and property with care. Damage caused by negligence is the financial responsibility of the Family.
The Studio does not administer medications. Families are responsible for managing any medical needs.
Students and families are expected to treat the studio, its staff, and other students with respect. The Studio reserves the right to end enrollment if this expectation is not met, with a prorated refund issued for any unused prepaid sessions.
Photo, Video & Marketing Release
By enrolling, Family grants Rhythm & Strings Music LLC permission to photograph, film, and record Student during lessons, recitals, recording sessions, and studio events, and to use these photos, videos, and recordings, along with Student's first name and instrument in the Studio's marketing, including its website, social media accounts, email newsletters, and paid advertising. No compensation is provided for this use.
Family may withdraw this consent at any time by notifying the Studio in writing at info@rhythmandstringsmusic.com. Withdrawal will not affect material already published before the request, but the Studio will remove or stop using new material going forward. The Studio will never publish Student's last name, home address, or other personal identifying contact information.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
Part 2 - Program-Specific Terms
Only the section below matching your enrollment applies to you. All other Part 1 terms above still apply regardless of program.
A. Artist Study Sessions:
Monthly membership
Minimum offer of 4 private 1:1 lessons per month, 30 minutes or 60-minutes each (determined during registration), with an assigned Studio instructor
Month-to-month, no long-term commitment, cancel anytime
Personalized Digital Practice Vault updated after every lesson
A customized curriculum built around your goals
Scheduling: Lessons are scheduled on a recurring weekly basis, at a day and time confirmed directly with the Studio at the time of enrollment. Monthly membership includes 4 sessions per calendar month; unused sessions do not roll over.
Cancellations & makeups: Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice or the lesson is considered missed and is not eligible for a makeup. Lessons cancelled with proper notice are first offered a makeup via video call, then in-person within the same calendar month, subject to availability. If the Studio cancels for any reason, a makeup is always offered with no restrictions.
Billing: Fees are billed automatically through Stripe on the date your enrollment begins (your “anniversary date”) and renew each month on that date. Your first payment is charged in full at checkout.
Failed or Declined Payments: If a scheduled payment doesn't go through, Stripe will automatically attempt to charge your payment method again over the following two weeks. Your lessons continue as normally scheduled during this time. If payment is still unsuccessful after all retry attempts, your membership will be automatically canceled, and your recurring lesson time is no longer guaranteed. No late fee is charged — just reach out to us at info@rhythmandstringsmusic.com to update your payment method and get things back on track.
Cancel anytime with no notice required and no fee; if you cancel after a billing date, your membership continues through the end of that already-paid cycle. Rates are subject to change with a minimum of 30 days' written notice.
B. Guitar Lab Accelerator:
Monthly membership
Weekly classes, 60 minutes each, with an assigned Studio instructor
Month-to-month, no long-term commitment, cancel anytime
Learn and grow alongside a small group of peers
Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled on a recurring weekly basis, at a class day and time confirmed with the Studio at the time of enrollment.
Cancellations & makeups: Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, as a courtesy to your instructor and class. Guitar Lab Accelerator sessions are not eligible for individual makeups, whether cancelled with notice or missed outright, although you're welcome to join the next scheduled session, subject to available capacity.
Billing: Fees are billed automatically through Stripe on the date your enrollment begins (your "anniversary date") and renew each month on that date. Your first payment is charged in full at checkout.

Acceptance
How to Accept This Agreement
By completing enrollment through a Studio payment link, checkbox, typed signature, or by replying “I agree” to an enrollment email, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the Part 1 General Terms and the Part 2 section applicable to your program.

Part 3 - Wiggle & Groove Program (Additional Terms)
This section applies only to families enrolled in the Wiggle & Groove music and movement program. All Part 1 General Terms above remain in full effect. In the event of a conflict between this section and Part 1, this section governs for Wiggle & Groove enrollment.
Program Description
Wiggle & Groove is a weekly music and movement program for children ages 0 to 5, operated by Rhythm & Strings Music LLC. Classes are held at Drive Dance Company, 630 Boston Road, Billerica, MA 01821, and are led by a Rhythm & Strings instructor. All materials and instruments are provided. Caregiver participation is required for all classes. Class size is capped at 20 enrolled students per session.
Tuition and Fees
Full session tuition is due at the time of registration. Enrollment is not confirmed until payment is received. Drop-in availability is not guaranteed and is offered at the sole discretion of the instructor.
Refund Policy
Full refund if requested before the first class of the enrolled session
50% refund if requested after attending the first class only
No refund after the second class of the session
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to wiggleandgroove@gmail.com. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method. Drop-in fees are non-refundable.
Missed Classes
Missed classes are not made up and tuition is not prorated for individual absences. We encourage consistent attendance to support your child's development and the continuity of the class.
Health and Attendance
Please do not bring a child to class if they have experienced any of the following within the prior 24 hours:
Fever of 100.4°F or higher
Vomiting or diarrhea
Active contagious illness, including but not limited to pink eye, strep throat, or hand, foot, and mouth disease
Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to class. There are no refunds or makeups for illness-related absences.
Program Changes and Cancellations
Rhythm & Strings Music LLC reserves the right to modify session dates, times, or venue locations due to circumstances outside our control, including facility closures, instructor illness, or emergency conditions. Notice will be provided as early as possible. If a class is cancelled by R&S Music and cannot be rescheduled, a prorated credit or refund will be issued for that class.
Media Release
Rhythm & Strings Music LLC may photograph or video record Wiggle & Groove classes for use in our own marketing materials, including our website and social media. Images and video will not be sold or shared with third parties. Children and caregivers will not be identified by full name in any public-facing content without separate written consent. Enrollment constitutes consent to this use. To opt out, notify us in writing at wiggleandgroove@gmail.com before the first class of your enrolled session.
Acceptance
Completion of registration and payment through a Wiggle & Groove payment link constitutes full acceptance of these terms and the Rhythm & Strings Music LLC Part 1 General Terms on behalf of the parent or guardian and their enrolled child or children.
